Its proprietary 3G Multi Dimensional Interlay (M.D.I.) was also included in the B-Series and W-Series profiles. The R-Series profile is for golfers seeking mid spin and a high launch. High-modulus 80t DIALEAD™ fibers used in the 3G M.D.I. application within the butt section are oriented in the hoop layers to decrease ovaling in the downswing and transfer energy more efficiently to the ball at impact -- much like the B-Series and W-Series. Because of its high trajectory and draw bias characteristics the R-Series is an ideal complement to the popular low center of gravity low-spin woods. • Their High Density Prepreg utilizes DIALEAD™ Pitch Fiber instead of traditional carbon fiber. By placing the DIALEAD™ based material in the hoop layers of the W-Series they're better able to prevent shaft "ovaling" and deliver superior stability leading to increased energy transfer and control during the swing. • The tip section of the new Diamana™ R-Series features our Tough-Qure™ fast-curing resin system that cures harder and two times faster than traditional resin systems. Their proprietary Block Copolymer Technology allows Tough-Qure™ to link elastic and durable polymers together delivering a prepreg that makes the shaft tip section stronger than traditional designs without sacrificing impact feel. • Working with our partners at Mitsubishi Plastics Inc. we have developed the next generation M.D.I.
